  • Main Activities: Awareness raising, mobilizing men into campaigns, networking, HIV mobile testing; emerging livelihoods activities.

Sharpening skills for improved home based care: Abanqobi and Hilton Valley Groups participate in a home-based care training programme

Pictured above are 11 members of the Abanqobi and Hilton Valley groups with the Home Based Care certificates they obtained after completing a 10-day course during August 2013 with the Gezubuso Projects. Both Abanqobi and Hilton Valley work in the field of HIV prevention and together provide home-based care to over 70 patients. This training was to update their knowledge on the changing nature of the provision of health care to HIV positive persons and to improve their skills to deliver quality care to their patients.
